TIME AVAILABLE FOR INTERACTIVE MANAGEMENT As requested I have evaluated use of ny tine with em>hasis on the amount of tirr.e availabIe to perform interactive managenent of t1e Division. A sunmry of rqy leave record is as follows:

Days in office 202 I think the'above data indicates that the amount of time available to perform interactive management was sufficient (in terms of percentage) over the past year. As you know, a nuraber of us work extra hours which don't show up in this data. As I look at this inferraation some issues occur to me.
First I think if.anything I am spending too nany days / hours at the work desk I would like to find ways to be more efficient and get the job done on schedule.
s I also think I should increase my effort (and time) in visiting the agrecraent states that have the responsibility for licensing new disposal sites.
I would' consider slightly. more travel to support the LLW program to be appropriate.
I also should focus more on the Uranium and Deconsissioning programs.
In n;y judgement, the biggest improvement I can make is to be more efficient in developing needed products.
I suggest we consider having a short management i
retreat for all managers in LLWM, to identify scme areas that need improvement,.and focus on more effective ways to get high c,uality products
,through the system on schedule.
