I 552, as amended, I am r equesting access to records pertaining to the Conoco Conquista Project located near Falls City, Texas.
The Conquista Project is a low level radioactive waste disposul eite operated by conoco inc.
We would be specificelly intereated in documents re:ponsive to re luests received by the Nuclear Regulatory Comraission from the general public, members of Congress, otht:r governmental agencies, etc., in regard to the posuible tiansfer of ownership of the Conquista Project i n t he mid-1980s.
ss Texas is an agreement state and wo have already made Treedom of Information requests on this subject to the Texas Depart-ment of Health and the Texas Railroad Com.nission, I believe it would be more efficient for me to review cespor.ai,ve documents and/or a listing of responsive doenraents rather than make a general copying requeet.
Conoco Inc. is inter-ested in the review of all documents, correspondence, reports, internal memoranda, etc.,
retained by the Nuclear Regulatcry Commission pertinent to the Conquista Project site and especially those located in the Region 4 office in Arlington, Texas.
We are aware that there will be a charge for the search and review of these records and request that you proceed with the search and review and advise us only if the charges exceed $50,00.
A written response is requested within 10 working days to this request.
