Dear Mr. Peterson:
APPLrCATION FOR LICENSE TO EXPORT NUCLEAR MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT Advanced Nuclear Fuels Corporation (ANF) requests that the enclosed application for export of nuclear materials to EURATOM be authorized. We further request that both applications be authorized on the same license which will ultimately replace License No. XSNM02165 for EURATOM nations. The material will satisfy customer requirements for three reloads (6,7 and
- 8) for the KRB IIC Power Plant, and for four lead assemblies for the Emsland Power Plant, both of which are located in the Federal Republic of Germany. The materlat for KRB IIC will total 4,100 kg U 235 contained in 102,000 kg total uranlum and that for Emsland will total 100 kg U 235 contained in 2,500 kg total uranium.
The total amount authorized by the license would be 4,m kg U 235 contained in 104,500 kg total uranlum.
The origin of the materialis unknown at this time.
Very truly yours,
