i MAJOR SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE t

During May, the following major safety related maintenance activities were performed Make-un System Valve MU-V-2A The MU-V-2A motor failed during plant operation. A replacement motor from warehouse stock was prepared and a Reactor Building entry made to perform the change out. Post maintenance testing of the newly installed motor was completed satisfactorily. Inspection of the old motor identified for the cause.of the failure to be a pinched wire which shorted to the casing.
