Dear Sir:

Description of Occurrence On 5/1/90, 1135~ hours, the Diesel Driven Fire Pump (DDFP) was removed from service to perform an annual inspection as part of the preventative maintenance program.

Preventative maintenance was completed and the DDFP was returned to service 5/8/90, 1320 hours0.0153 days <br />0.367 hours <br />0.00218 weeks <br />5.0226e-4 months <br />. Operability testing was completed satisfactorily 5/8/90, 1925 hours0.0223 days <br />0.535 hours <br />0.00318 weeks <br />7.324625e-4 months <br />.

Cause of the Malfunction The DDFP was removed from service for routine preventative maintenance.

Plans for Restoring Equipment to Operable Status The DDFP was returned to service 5/8/90,.1320 hours0.0153 days <br />0.367 hours <br />0.00218 weeks <br />5.0226e-4 months <br />.
