changes, correct typographical errors, adjust line spacing (repagination), and adjust text formats.

In addition, the proposed amendment deletes pertinent portions of the Technical Specifications that related to one-time only, date certain extensions which have since expired, and to plant equipment which had been removed from service pursuant to previously received approvals.

Subsequent to discussions with the NRC Project Manager for Indian Point Unit No.

2, we have determined that Attachment I to our March 27, 1990 letter should be totally superseded by Attachment I of this letter.

This attachment discusses the nature of the proposed changes for the Technical Specifications.

Attachment II to this letter provides page changes needed to update the March 27, 1990 submittal to reflect amendments 145 through 151, yhkr. have been issued since that time.

It also includes page changes, as - discussed with the Project Manager, to correct ove.rsights and to provide improvements in addition to those submitted in the March 27, 1990 submittal.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGES In addition to the editorial changes, typographical error corrections and othe-format changes, several other changes are proposed as follows:
