I am writing in reference to the notice regarding the Grand Gulf document collection.
We are the public library for Natchez p
and Adams County, which is located approximately 45 miles from-the plant site.
I havr several questions regarding the disposition of the L
collection:
1.
Must the collection be moved in its entirety, or may an approved library select those materials and/or equipment that would be likely additions to the existing collection?
2.
'hhat restrictions would be placed on the use of the cc.11ection?
3.
Wha'. restrictions would be placed on the housing and.naintenance of the collection?
4.
How socn would this move take place?
We are in the process of remodeling the library and beginning a major. automation project (converting all. of our holdings-information to machine readable form to provide -a completely computerized catalog and circulation system).
i The addition of such a collection would have immediate ramifications on1the above projects.
