PROPOSED LICENSE TO EXPORT SOURCE MATERIALTOWESTGERMANY(XS008696) j On May 22, 1990, NRC received a license application from Cabot Corporation to export 111.1 kilograms of thorium and 34.9 kilograms of uranium contained in 26,456 kilograms.of tantalum raw material for ore processing in West Germany and return to the U.S.- for a general non-nuclear end use.

The applicant has requested expeditious processing of the license request as the material is ready for imediate shipment and is urgently needed.
