OMISSION OF DATA FROM THE HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION RADIOACTIVE EFFLUENT RELEASE REPORT HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Please find attached revised page 8 for the semi-annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report (RERR-8) forwarded on February 28, 1990 in accordance with section 6.9.1.7 of Appendix A to the operating license for Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS).
The required information concerning a liquid radioactive effluent release monitor that was out of service for greater than 30 days was not included in the Public Service Electric and Gas (F'E&G) submittal.
PSE&G has reviewed the facts surrounding the omission and has determined that the event is reportable per 10CFR50.73.
The reporting of this inoperable radioactive effluent release monitor in the RERR is required by_the applicable Action statement provided in the station Technical Specifications.
As such, a Licensee Event Report (LER) is being prepared and will contain details concerning the omission and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
This report will be forwarded by May 21, 1990.
