- 4 Special Report No.90-004, Unit 1 Fire Barriers Non-functional For More Than Seven Days l'
Beginning at 1330 on April 27, 1990, breaches were made to several fire barrier valls as a part of planned construction activities to modify the Primary Access Point (PAP). A total of'three fire barrier valls (north and.
4 vest vall of room.465 and vest vall of room 466) and two. fire barrier doors (doors 456 and 457) have been removed while-the PAP-is being remodeled.
M; Technical-Specification 3.7.12 requires that all non-functional fire barrier-penetrations be restored-to functional status within seven days or-a Special Report must be submitted within the.next 30 days. Therefore,c this Special Report is being submitted.

The fire barriers are-expected to be restored on approximately July _1,
-q 1990. Technical Specification action requirements are being met.
