Modification No. 5 to Task Order No. 04 Under Contract No. NRC-39-89-133 This modifictition is issued issued to reflect (1) the increase of the level of effort of this task order as described in the attached Statement of Work and (2) the confirmation of the verbal authorization of February 1,1990 granted by the NRC Contracting Officer which, effective February 2, 1990, (a) extends the task order period of performance through March 29, 1991; (b) establishes the total estimated ceiling amount for this extension at
$75,917.66; and (c) provides incremental funds of $15,000,00.
1 Therefore, the task order total estimated ceiling amount is increased by
$75,917.66 from $72,800.52 to $148,718.18 and the obligated amount is increased by $15,000.00 from $72,800.52 to $87,800.52.
Accordingly, the following changes are hereby made:
1.
'The third and fourth paragraphs of the definitization letter for this task order is revised to read as follows:
" Task Order No. 04 shall be in effect from February 1, 1989 through March 29, 1991 with a total cost ceiling of $148,718.18.
The amount of $138,342.52 represents the total estimated reimbursable costs and amount of $10,375.26 represent. the fixed fee.
The total cost ceiling amount of $148,718.18 includes the $15,000.00 verbally authorized to you on February 1, 1990.
The amount presently obligated with respect to this task order is
$87,800.52 of which $81,675.00 represents the total estimated reimbursable costs and the amount of $6,125.52 represents the. fixed fee. This obligated amount may be unilaterally increased from time to time by the Contracting Officer by written modification to this task order.
The obligated amount shall, at no time, exceed the task order ceiling. When and if the amount (s) paid and payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obligated amount, the Contractor shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this task order.
Any work undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk.
The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of 52.232 Limitation of Funds for this incrementally funded task order."
