SUBJECT:
ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 15 TO FACILITY LICENSE NO. R UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued Amendment No.15 to Facility License No. R-52 for the TRIGA research reactor at the University of Arizona in response to the application for renewal dated October 17, 1988 as supplemented on July 17 and September 15, 1989 and January 30,1990. This amendment renews the operating license for twenty years from its date of issuance.
In accordance with our practice, we have restated the license in its entirety, incorporating all the changes made since the issuance of the original license.
Enclosed with the amended license is a copy of the Notice of Renewal that is being sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, the EnvironmentalAssessment,andtheSafetyEvaluationReport(HUREG-1390) associated with the renewal.
