South Carolina Electric and Gas Company.(SCE&G) submitted the renewal i
application for NPDES Permit #SC0030856 on December. 30. 1988.. This. submittal contained an attachment which identified the chemicals used in the. Various systems at the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station and the associated outfall l
where these chemicals could be expected to be discharged from the facility.
A recent spill of hydrazine (reference SCE&G 1etter to-Mr. W. R Krecker of March 23, 1990) at the Condensate -Chemical Injection Tank has identified an additional path for hydrazine through Outfall 007 which was not previously recognized.
Please find attached a revised Table which has been updated to -
reflect the-potential discharge of this chemical at this outfall.- This table supercedes any previous.submittals of this information.
