Change Request No. 90-11-1, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, requesting.an amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) (Appendix:A)'of Operating License No._NPF a 1

Information supporting this change request is contained in Attachment l to this-1 letter, and the proposed replacement page is contained in Attachment 2.

This submittal requests a change to the TS-Surveillance Requirement 4.7.4b to allow a one-time extension of the snubber visual inspection period. The current i

inspection period plus the 25% grace period expires on July 14,(1990.,'Accordingly, 1

this proposed change is needed to avoid a shutdown of-Unit'l in order to perform.a TS required reduced interval visual inspection of three snubberslocated in the drywell..

upcoming refueling outage, currently. scheduled to begin in-September,.1990.
