With your application dated April 2,1990, you remitted a check for-
$150. This application was for Westinghouse Proprietary Topical Report -
WCAP-12488 " Westinghouse Fuel Criteria Evaluation Process". The enclosed revisions to 10 CFR 170 that became effective on January 30, 1989, deleted the requirement for a $150 application fee for reactor applications and topical reports. -Therefore, a $150 check does:not need-to be remitted with future applications.
As an administrative convenience, we are not refunding the $150 to you.
Instead we will give credit for it when an invoice is issued for review of that application. Let us know if this is not acceptable to you.
