.This letter is a request for a Letter of " Timely Renewal" for the above referenced applica-tion; similar to the one provided while Certificate of Compliance No. 6280 was under i
submission and-review. The rationale for this request is that our customers:do not fully l
comprehend U.S.N.R.C. ficensing nomenclature (they determine that the expiration date on the Approval means that the package no longer has any validity), and to' avoid time-consuming explanatory correspondence and/or telephone calls between our customers-4 and your Department. -We are currently in the process of evaluating and formulating the changes to our Program, in response to your Request For Additional Information (71--
1 0122), in accordance with the procedures prescribed within this program. We do have a.
i couple of q,uestions, especially to your Department's request for compliance to 10CFR. Part 21, which will be forthcoming. ~
