- ,o JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT ADDENDUM CONCERNING REVISION TO THE OFFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL Temporary Change 8A (TCN 8A) to the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) was approved by the PORC on March 16, 1990 and became effective on that date. The methodology in TCN 6A is consistent with the previous revision with the j
following exception:
A new factor, Dr (required dilution factor for gamma emitters), was introduced into the calculations which determine the alarm / trip setpoint for the effluent radiation monitors so that 10CFR20 compliance is met. The dilution factor is used to introduce necessary conservatism into the setpoint calculations.
It was determined by the PORC that this change does not reduce the accuracy or reliability of dose calculations or setpoint determinations.
The ODCM applies to Farley Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2.
