Dear Mr. Adams:

The purpose of.this letter is to inform you of two recent pro-i notions involving GA's'TRIGA Facility personnel.

First, to better utilize hir very considerable skills and experience, Dr.

L Whittemore.was prc43ted from Director of Irradiation Services'to the position of Senior Scientific Advisor.

In this position, Dr.

Whittemore will be better able-to provide guidance and support to

a'1 of the operating units within GA's TRIGA Group.

f Dr. Whittemore had also been the-Associate' Physicist-in-Charge at GA's TRIGA Facility.

That role is now being filled by the l

L TRIGA Facilities' Operations Supervisor, Mr. William E. Hood.

Hoodchas been a licensed SeniorfReactor Operator at GA's-TRIGA-L Facility since '1984 and-Deputy Physicist-in-Charge since-1988.

He holds n1B.S. degree in Electrical-Engineering.

been promoted from Manager of the TRIGA Facility to Director of t

Radiation Services.

Radiation Services includes the TRIGA Facility plus GA's linear _ accelerator facility (LINAC).

P Razvi currently continues as the TRIGA Facility Manager and as-the Physicist-in-Charge.
