Response to NRCB 88-05 (TAC 68734 and 68735) er The following information is provided 'in response to requested actions and reporting requirements of Supplement 2 to NRCB 88-05.
Action Requested:
Addressees are requested to maintain. for -inspection-the documentation of the specific actions taken for the: identified materials.
Response
DLC will maintain documentation available for NRC examination.
Action Requested:
Addressees are requested to retain nonconforming materials until advised further by the NRC.
Response
Since testing activities were suspended prior to identifying any materials which do not meet the NUMARC criteria, DLC has not' identified any materials which will be retained for this purpose.
Untested material in the Warehouse has been tagged and is.being retained and withheld from use.

Addressees are encouraged to report the results of tests of PSI and WJM supplied flanges and fittings to the INPO Nuclear Network for dissemination to the industry.
Response
DLC is providing information within its completed scope of work as part of the industry database being assembled by NUMARC.
Reporting Requirement:
Holders of full power operating licenses are required to report the results of their records
- review, testing, and analysis performed as of the date of this supplement in accordance with the 120 day reporting requirement-specified in paragraph'l of Bulletin 88-05.
Response
By August 3,
- 1988, DLC had identified no= stock or installed WJM/ PSI /CLM materials for BVPS-1.
A total of 3464 items on 2338 purchase orders. were identified as flanges or fittings.
Review of these orders was 57%
complete on August 10, 1988.
The necessity for testing or analysis was suspended due to issuance of Supplement 2 of the bulletin.
Materials installed in safety related systems at BVPS-2 and known on August 3,
1988 are listed on Attachment 1.
The locations of these items =were identified on July 26 and testing preparations were in progress, but no testing had begun.
All actions with regard to previous versions of this Bulletin have ceased with the exception of records search activities.
DLC currently plans to complete the search and await the results of NRC review of the NUMARC proposals.
