t in the referenced letter, PECo indicated that Modification (Mod) 2285
" Provide Alternate Power Supply to the Residual Heat Removal (RHR) Minimum y
flow Valve," would be implemented on both units as a long-term solution for ensuring minimum flow protection for the RHR pumps in the event of a 10 CFR 50 Appendix R fire. This letter is to inform you thAt Mod 2285 has been completed on Unit 3, but that Mod 2285 will not be completed on Unit 2 during the 8th refueling outage as previously scheduled. The solution for this 10 CFR 50 Appendix R issue (Mod 2084), as described in the referenced letter, remains in effect on Unit 2.
This establishes compliance with the applicable 10 CFR 50 Appendix R requiremert.
