MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE) t The Commission was briefed by the TU Electric Company (applicant), the Citizens Association for Sound Energy (CASE),

4 and the staff on the applicant's readiness to receive a full power operating license for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 1.

Presentationc by the applicant were made by the following:

Erle Nye, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William Counsil, Vice Chairman William Cahill, Executive Vice President Austin Scott, Vice President, Nuclear Operations i

James Kelly, Comanche Peak Plant Manager A presentation was also made by the Citizens Association for Sound Energy (CASE), represented by Billie Pirner Garde.

The Commission, with all Commissioners agreeing, authorized the staff to issue, upon findings that the applicant has satisfied all requirements, a full power operating license to TU Electric Company for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 1.

In additicn, the Commission requested copies of the allegation package received on April 9, 1990 and the staff's written statement of position on the allegations contained in that package.
