I have received your_ letter of March 15, 1990,'in which you-propose to enter into a limited agreement withithe Nuclear-Regulatory Commission (NRC) under-which NRC.would_ discontinue, and Pennsylvania would assume,--regulatory authority over.those' activities associated with-low-level radioactive.was. te disposal.. The'NRC staff is reviewingjthe draft low-level waste regulatory program description and will be in contact with your staff.
Wo will make every ef. fort to handle;this request in an expeditious manner.
