A refund of $30 was previously made to your company since your application was subject to a renewal fee of $120. A copy of our October 5,1988 letter informing you of the refund is enclosed. Please note that Section 170.12(a) of Part 170 of the Commission's regulations, copy enclosed, provides that application fees will be charged irrespective of the Commission's disposition of the application or a withdrawal of the application. If, however, the Commission receives an application accompanied by a fee and it is withdrawn prior to the staff. commencing its review, the fee won)d be refunded.
