George Knighton Enclosed is Amendment 16 to the Rancho Seco Physical Security Plan.
Amendment 16, Event lA, Land Vehicle Bombs has been inserted into Chapter 11 of the Nuclear Security Plan, which is the Security Contingency Plan.
This addition was accomplished in compliance with the Nuclear Generic Letter 89-07 (dated April 28, 1989), and completion reported to the commission via letter AGM/NUC 89-161 (dated October 16, 1989).
The effects of this change have been considered as required in 10 CFR 50.54(p)(1).
The addition of this event to the Rancho Seco Contingency Plan enhances rather than decreases security at Rancho Seco.
The information contained in Amendment 16 to the Physical Security Plan is Safeguards Information and shall be afforded the protection required under 10 CFR 73.21.
As such it shall not be placed in the Public Document Room.
