31310018D0002/31310019F0030 P00001 The purpose of this task order modification is to: 1) exercise Option Period 1, Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000), thereby increasing the task order ceiling by from to and extending the period of performance from March 30, 2020 through March 29, 2021; and 2) provide incremental funding in the amount of $100,000.00, thereby increasing the funding from to . Accordingly, the task order is hereby modified:
SECTION B.2 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATIONTASK ORDERS (AUG 2011),
paragraphs (a), (c), and (e) are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following:
(a) The total ceiling of this contract for the products/services under this contract is (Cost of and Fixed-Fee of ) for the base period and option period one (exercised). The amount will increase as follows, upon exercise of any option periods.
Total: $1,417,624.00 (c) The amount presently obligated with respect to this order is of which represents cost, and represents fixed fee. The obligated amount shall, at no time, exceed the order ceiling as specified in paragraph (a) above. When and if the amount(s) paid and payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obligated amount, the Contractor shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this order, in accordance with FAR Part 43 - Modifications. Any work undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk and may not be reimbursed by the Government.
(e) In accordance with FAR 52.216 Fixed Fee, it is the policy of the NRC to withhold payment of fee after payment of 85 percent of the fee has been paid in order to protect the Governments interest. The amount of fixed-fee withheld from the contractor will not exceed 15 percent of the total fee or $100,000, whichever is less. Accordingly, the maximum amount of fixed-fee that may be held in reserve is .
SECTION F. 1 TASK/DELIVERY ORDER PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (SEP 2013) is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
This task order shall commence on August 19, 2019 and will expire on March 29, 2021. The term of this task order may be extended at the option of the Government for an additional two 1-year Option Periods. The option periods of this task order will only be exercised should the base contract option periods be exercised. If exercised Section I.8 Clause 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT. (MAR 2000) is applicable.
