Revised Commitment for Hydrogen Analyzer Installation
Dear Sir:
Maine Yankee committed, via Reference (b), to complete installation of a second (qualified) hydrogen analyzer during the 1982 refueling outage (Item II.F.1.6c, page 4).
We committed, via Reference (c) item PAM-1, to make every effort to complete this item by April 1,1982.
We have been unable to meet this accelerated commitment due to monitor wiring anomalies discovered during site checkout of the second monitor. These anomalies require evaluation and most likely will require correction. We have revised our commitment of Reference (c) to coincide with that of Reference (b), i.e., completion during the 1982 refueling outage.
In the interim, the commitment to initiate hydrogen purging described in item PAM-1 of Reference (b) will remain in effect.
Yours truly, MAINE YANKEE ATOMIC POWER COMPANY f
