On 12/6/81, the resctor power level was reduced to approximately 46% to p%

erform a series of turbine valve and trip tests. The power level was restored to 100 after the tests were completed.

On 12/20/81, the reactor power level was reduced to approximately 98% to perform a periodic test on the standby auxiliary feed pump flow. The reactor power level was restored to 100% after the test and remained there until the end of the report month.

. GINNA STATION Maintenance Report December, 1981 During December, normal maintenance and inspections were performed. Major safety related maintenance included:

Cleaning of_ a containment isolation check valve for the containment air radiation monitor return line.

The valve failed to seal properly due to dirt on the seal.
