Dear Sir This is a 30-day special report concerning 3-hour fire barriers pursuant-to Trojan Technical Specifications 3.7.9 and 6.9.2.

The 3-hour fire barrier surrounding the cable spreading room has been rendered inoperable to install conduit associated with t te installation of the cable spreading room deluge system (RDC 80-026, D'P 6).

To comply with Technical Specification 3.7.9a, a continuous fire watch was stationed prior to breaching the fire barrier. The cable spreading room fire barrier is expected to be returned to a functional status by March 31, 1982.

Sincerely, C.

. Ynndt General Manager CPY:ga h
