December, 1981 Unit No. 4 started up following scheduled refueling, maintenance and inspection (continued from previous month).

Refer to " Unit Shutdowns and Power Reductions" section of December 1981, Operating Status Report for additional information.

Unit No. 4 operated at approximately 100% power for the renainder of tne month except for outages on 12/20/81 and 12/22/81.

Major Safety-related maintenance activities performed during the month included:

Inspections and requirements of IE Bulletins and NUREG-0737 are continuing.

Florida Power & Light Company commitments for NUREG-0737 implementation are continuing.

Refer to correspondence between FPL and NRC for additional information.
