Dear Sir:
Subpc t : Maine Yankee Reportable Occurrence 82-005/0lT-0 Pursuant to the requirements of Technical Specification 5.9.1.6.c, the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company hereby submits the following report.
With the plant in the cold shutdown condition, six (6) primary manway studs were broken while removing the manway.
Examination of the broken studs indicates scme corrosion attack. Prior to restart all primary manway studs will be UT tested and all th studs removed from the affected steam generator will be LP tested also.
