and Operational Support This letter is in response to a letter from Mr J A Hind of your staff dated March 3, 1982 regarding the proposed date of April 8, 1982 for the Big Rock Point Plant Emergency Plan Exercise.
FEMA indicated that its Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) would be unable to meet the April 8, 1982 date and thus has requested that the date of the exercise be changed to April 6, 1982. The April 6, 1982 date was agreed to by C Paperiello and W Axelson of your staff during a meeting held on March 5, 1982 at the Glen Ellyn offices between Messrs Paperiello and Axelson and Consumers Power Company personnel. The date of April 6, 1982 has been agreed to by both State and local governments and FEMA has scheduled the post exercise critique for 7:00 p.m., April 7, 1982 at the Charlevoix county EOC.
Unless notified otherwise, Consumers Power Company will assume that the date of the Big Rock Point Plant Emergency Plan Exercise will remain as April 6, 1982.
