Dear Dr. Miller:

Af ter March 20 the UMR Reactor will not be operated until another individual or more becomes licensed as a Senior Operator because the two current Senior Operators will have resigned and left the University.

Three of our faculty and staf f, Dr. Albert Bolon, Mr. Carl Barton, and Mr. Michael Middleton, are to take their Senior Operator examinations on March 18 - 20.

This letter is a request that the grading, checking and issuing of the licenses, if the grades are satisfactory, be done as quickly as possible.

We will certainly appreciate your assistance with this matter.
