Dear Mr. Palladino:

Recently a constituent brought to my attention some serious allegations regarding defective piping at the Long Island Lighting Company Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant.

The constituent in question worked on the project in 1979. He wishes to have his identity protected, however, he is willing to speak to someone at your agency concerning the specifics of his allegations.

I feel it is important that his charges be looked into as soon as possible.

I would appreciate it if someone from your agency would contact Rosalie Cipolla at my West Islip District Office at 516-661-8777.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

/
