Docket No. 50-320 Reactor Building Purge System This is in response to your letter of February 4, 1982 (NRC/TMI 006) in which you requested a schedule for our completion of modifi-cations to the "A" Reactor Building Purge System train.
GPU concurs that it would be prudent to make the "A" purge system available for operation such that two independent purge systems are ready to facilitate containment entry activities. We intend to integrate this modification in appropriate priority with other station activities, recognizing the limited resources available.
A number of activities need to be performed prior to placing this system in service,as follows:
1.
Operating procedures must be modified to allow operation of the "A" purge train.
