Technical Specifications and Quality Assurance Plan for the University of Virginia, License R-66 (Docket 50-62).

Enclosed are copies of a revision to the Technical Specifications for the University of Virginia Reactor (License R-66, Docket 50-62) and an appendix to the Quality Assurance Program for our Facility (License R-66 and R-123).
Both are submitted for NRC approval.
The revision to the UVAR Technical Specifications supercede all previous copies submitted during the license renewal review. Previous copies dated January 1979 and July 1980 should be destroyed.
The changes in the current copies are intendad to increase their clarity.
fiany of these changes were briefly discussed with Mr. Carter during his visit in February 1982.
l The appendix to the Quality Assurance Program will be included as a part of the Program submitted to the flRC for approval in July 198l. Approval of l
both the July 1981 Quality Assurance and the enclosed appendix to it is requested.
This approval is requested as soon as possible to support shipment of fuel in May 1982.
Both of the enclosed documents have been reviewed and approved by the University of Virginia Reactor Safety Committee.
