We have reviewed your plan dated December 10,198SNtfe surveillance of the contaminated land and for its preparation for release to unrestricted use. The criteria for release of the land to unrestricted use are in accordance with the site specific criteria submitted as an appendix to your SilM-1067 license, Amendnent No. 30, dated June 29, 1981.
After you have completed your survey and are satisfied it meets the criteria for release to unrestricted use, you should submit the detailed results of your soil sampling and land surveillance to the NRC. We shall then detennine whether a confirmatory survey is needed before authorizing release of the land for unrestricted use.
