3.
The reason for this request is that Myron'M. Cherry, the prircipal lawyer for the Rockford Icague of Wcnon Voters and the lawyer most familiar with the facts and who is responsible for preparing the Brief, has been and will continue to be out of the office away frcm his practice during the entire week of March 1, 1982, and most likely for scnn days during the week of March 8,1982. The reason for this is I

that his wife, during the week of March 1, gave birth to a baby girl and given all the circumstances it was not possible for him to work on the Brief this week, nor will it be possible for him to work on the Brief for substantial portions of the week of' March 8,1982.
4.
Mditionally, the undersigned is not in a position to familiarize himself with the facts and work on the Brief until beginning bhrch 10, 1982, because he is engaged in the filing of a Brief with.the Suprme Court of Illinois on a prior scheduled matter which must be filed Tuesday, March 9, 1982.
5.
Accordingly, this short extension of time is necessary and the league respectfully requests that this Motion be granted.
6.
The law offices of Paul Murphy, Esq., representing C%xmonwealth Edison Ompany, were advised of this Motion and the reasons therefor, but thus far they have not responded. Steven Goldberg, Esq.
