This letter is transmitted pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.59b to furnish the Nuclear Regulatory Commission a description of changes, tests and experiments conducted without prior approval of the Commission.
During the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981, the reactor operated 1689 hours0.0195 days <br />0.469 hours <br />0.00279 weeks <br />6.426645e-4 months <br /> producing 2212 megawatt hours of thermal energy. Approximately 4600 samplen were irradiated in the pneumatic irradiation facility. The beam ports were in use for neutron spectroscopy for a total of 1712 MWH.
Detailed operating statistics are contained in the report " Operating Statistics, Fiscal Year July 1,1980 through June 30, 1981". Three copies of the report are enclosed.
The experiments conducted during the reporting period are the same as those contained in the annual report.
