NRC CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE No. 9154
Dear Mr. Weiss:
Technical Operations, Inc., recently designed and fabricated a Co proj ector for and to the specifications and requirements of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for an overseas shipment.
In November of 1981, because of a tight schedule, LLNL contracted with Technical Operations to apply directly for a certificate of compliance rather than processing the application through the DOE. Also, since Technical Operations had designed c.nd processed two other projectors for certification, it was logical for them to perform the evaluation and service for LLNL. As a result, Certificate of Compliance No. 9154 was issued to Technica1 0perations, Inc.

Because the Co projector was designed specifically for LLNL who is under contract to the DOE, it is requested that the Certificate of Compliance No. 9154 f,i!
be reissued to the Department of Energy with LLNL as the principal user.
