Dear Mr. Carter:
h
'GP It is about time that ordinary people living near the Indian Point'jj n i ;
nuclear reactors be able to express our feelings about them.
I went to a hearing sme time ago and mited several hours hit there was time only for those with special status so express their views.
Please put me on your list of people who want very mch to enter a written statement about my feelings, although professional and family responsibilities may preclude my miting to make an oral statement.
Meanwhile the reactors should be shut down until their safety is accessed and emergency plans are made in case of their malfunctioning. Tne lives and health of too a ny millions of people are in balance for them to be operating in the near future.
Sincerely yours, n
