Washington Water Power Company, and Portland General Electric Cortpany have sub-mitted an amended application for construction permits and operating licenses fnr t so boiling water nuclear reactors designated as the Skagit/Hanford Nuclear Project Units 1 and 2.
Each reactor is designed for operation at 3800 thermal megawatts with a net electrical output of approxii.ately 1300 megawatts per unit.
The facilitier are to be located in Benton County, Washingtoa, approximately 8 miles west of the Columbia River, 7 miles north of the Yakima River at Horn Rapids Dan, and 12 niles northwest of the city of North Richland. The geographic coordi-nates are as follows:
Skagit/Hanford, Unit 1 Latitude - 46 degrees, 29 minutes, 15 seconds north Longitude - 119 degrees, 26 minutes, 4 seconds east Skagit/Hanford, Unit 2 Latitude - 46 degrees, 29 minutes, 15 seconds north Longitude - 119 degrees, 25 minutes, 51 seconds east These units were previously designated Skagit Nuclear Power Project and were located near Sedro Woolley in Skagit Coungy, Washington.
