U This refers to the Comission's February ll,1981, Order to flodi which requested the filing of either a radiological contingency plan or a request for reduction in possession limits of radioactive materials.
In response to your letters dated June 18 and July 16, 1981, the Order for License SNM-1107 was modified on August 10, 1981, to allow an additional period of time for your Company to comply therewith.
Requests for extension of time to comply with NRC Orders are subject to fees; however, through an oversight, your request for extension was processed with-out payment of the prescribed fee. We request, therefore, that you remit an amendment fee of $150 as specified in fee Category IB of Section 170.31 of Part 170. Payment should be made to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission and mailed to the attention of Douglas Weiss, Silver Spring Office.
We apologize for the oversight and delay in notifying you of the fee require-ment for your request. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please let us know.
