Clark, Chief Operating Reactors, Branch 3 Gentlemen: 4 DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 REQUESTED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION OF SAFETY-RELATED ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 In a January 7, 1982 letter to Wisconsin Electric from Mr. Robert A. Clark, additional information was requested regarding the environmental qualification of safety-related electrical equipment at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. With our letter in response to this request dated January 29, 1982, we forwarded all but two of the requested references to Franklin Research Center (FRC) with a copy of the cover letter to you. The two documents withheld were considered proprietary to the companies involved in their publication. These two companies have now agreed that copies of the requested documents can be submitted to FRC without an affidavit requesting their treatment in a proprietary status. ,Therefore, by this letter we are sending copies of the two documents (items p and z on the enclosure to our January 29 letter) to FRC for the purpose stated in Mr. Clark's letter. As before, we ask that these references not be reproduced and that they be returned to Wisconsin Electric promptly upon completion of FRC's review.~ This letter fulfills our response to Mr. Clark's letter of February 18, 1982.
