1982, concerring the application of Gulf States Utilities Company for an operating license for the River Bend Nuclear Power 5tation, Units 1 and 2, located about 24 miles north-northwest of Faton Rouge, West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.
We have reviewed the Lnvi ronmen tal 1,tatement you enclosed and are providing the follow-iny corinents, in accordance with the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (4E 5 tat. 401, a s d'nended ; '!.5.C.
661 et seq.
and the Endangered 5Fecies Act (b7 5 tat. 004, as amended; 16 '!. S. C. 1531 et seq. ):

Fish and Wildlite Coordination Act Based un our review of the subject statement, we find that the fish and wildlife resources of the project ared and the impacts associated with the proposed action are adequately described and assessed.
The applicant has toordinited with the U.'
Fish and Wildlife Kervice and has provided mitigation for unavoidable adverse impacts to those resources.
