(e) Milestone Schedule:

The line after Combustion Eng. Final Report is amended to read, " Windsor, Conn. only - briefing (f) The last three paragraphs of Modificatior. Five are hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor:

Therefore, Article IV, Consideration and Payment, is amended to read as follows:

1.

It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for performance of this contract will be $316,600.87 of which the sum of $300,630.00 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $15,970.87 represents the fixed fee.

2.

Total funds currently available for payment and obligated to this contract are $218,000.00 of which $202,029.13 represents the estimated costs and $15,970.87 represents the fixed fee.

For further provisions of funding, see the General Provisions, Clause No. Three (3) entitled, " Limitations of Funds."

2.

Phase one (1) of the Contractor's engineering change proposal (ECP) dated is accepted by the Government and incorporated herein as Task 4.

Therefore, the following changes are made to subject contract:

(a) Part 1, Section C, Work Required, is amended to incorporate the following as Task 4:

Task 4:

The Contractor shall maintain valid execution of AMASS software as defined in the User / Analyst and Systems Manual Specifications.

Maintenance shall consist of accomplishment of the following subtasks upon prior approval by the NRC Project Officer:

4.1.

The Contractor shall analyze suspected program errors to determine cause.

4.2.

The Contractor shall change and test the code to eliminate errors identified by the Project Officer or the Contractor.

4.3.

The Contractor shall modify the code to permit minor format input and output changes.

4.4.

The contractor shall establish and maintain a maintenance log and configuration management log to assure that all modifications are properly recorded and traceable.

4.5.

The Contractor shall maintain two complete sets of User's/ Analyst and Systems Manuals to Support the current version of AMASS currently stored at the NIH library.

4. 6.

The Contractor shall maintain the AMASS program in card deck, tape, and source list formats for the current version of AMASS.

The reporting requirements are hereby amended to add the following deliverables for Task 4 in Section 1, Part D, Paragraph 2, as follows:

Task 4.5 De?iverables.

Draft Manuals: On or before 30 July 1982, the Contractor shall submit a draft User's/ Analyst and Systems Manual which a

shall include one (1) source listing and tape number for the AMASS tape residing the the NIH tape library for review and comment by the NRC Project Dfficer.

Comments shall be returned to the Contractor for incorporation into the final manuals on or before 30 November 1981.

Final Manuals: On or before 15 January 1983, the Contractor shall submit the final USER's/ Analyst and Systems Manual which shall include one (1) final source listing and tape number (s) for the AMASS tape residing in the NIH tape library.

Task 4.4 Deliverables.

Draft Logs:

On or before 30 July 1982, the Contractor shall submit the maintenance and configuration logs to be used by the NRC Project Officer in the evaluation of the Task 4.5 draft deliverable.

Final Logs: Within 15 days after SRD final report, the contractor shall submit the final maintenance and configuration logs.

Task 4.6 Deliverables: Within 30 days after completion of the 7'" facility, the contractor shall submit for the current version of AMASS:

Article IV, Allowable Cost / Compensation, Section D, Paragraph 2, is amended to include Mr. Robert Rose, Computer Systems Analyst, as a i

cosultant as follows:

" Consultant Costs - The Contractor is hereby authorized to utilize the services of Dr. Fred Tingey, Mathematical Statistician, at a rate of $30.00 per hour for an estimated total amount of

$23,070.00; Mr. George H. Williams, Senior Safeguards Specialist, at a rate of $20.00 per hour for an estimated amount of $2,000.00; and Mr. Robert Rose, Computer Systems Analyst, at a rate of $20.00 per hour for an estimated amount of $3,400.00.

Prior written authorization by the Contracting Officer is required in order to utilize other consultants."

Article VIII, Special Provisions, Section 1, is amended to incorporate Mr. Charles Barnhart, Senior Computer Systems Engineer, as a key person for the accomplishment of Task 4.

Pursuant to the foregoing, the Government's monetary obligation increases from $316,600.87 to S338,860.87 an increase of $22,260.00, of which

$20,441. 00 are the additional allowable costs, and $1,819.00 the additional allowable fee.

In addition to the above amount obligated herein, incremental funding in the amount of $98,660.87 is hereby obligated to fully fund subject contract.

Therefore, Article IV, Consideration and Payment, is changed to read as follows:

1.

It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for performance of this contract will be $338,860.87 of which the sum of $321.071.00 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $17,789.87 represents the fixed fee.

2.

Total funds currently available for payment and obligated to this contract are $338,860.87 which fully funds subject contract.

For further provisions of costs, see the General Provisions, Clause 5.1 entitled, " Limitation of Costs."

3.

It is estimated that the amount obligated will cover performance through 15 January 1983.

Clause Number 5.2, " Limitation of Funds" is hereby deleted in its entirety.
