Article I - Statement of Work, Paragraph "D." line eleven (11) is hereby amended to read:
"The contractor shall also visit the designated licensed facility..."

Article. II - Period of Performance, Paragraph "A" is hereby amended to read:
"A.
Performance under this contract shall commence on September 30, 1981 and shall continue until June 30, 1982, at which time all reports shall have been submitted and all work under the contract shall have been completed."

Article V - Allowable Cost, Paragraph "B" is hereby deleted in its entirety and the following substituted in lieu thereof:
"B.
Subcontractor Cost The contractor is hereby authorized to enter into a subcontract with the designated license ( facility for services. on a timt and material basis for Phase II.
The amount of this subcontract shall not exceed $5,000 without the approval of the Contracting Officer.
The subcontract shall include Articles of this contract and applicable NRC General Provisions."

Article VII - Private Use and Protection of Unclassified Government Information, Paragraph "A" is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:
"All records or other interim information, documents and material, and any copies thereof, acquired in confidence from sources other than the Commission in the performance of this contract, shall be returned to those sources or destroyed by the contractor upon completion or termination of this contract.
Such action shall be certified in writing by the contractor and a copy of the certification document shall be sent to the NRC Technical and Contract personnel assigned this contract."

Article VIII - Classification is hereby amended by adding the following sentences:
"Notwithstanding any of the above, the contractor shall indicate the classification and/or proprietary content of each paragraph, figure and table of the report.
If a paragraph, figure, or table contains both proprietary and classified information, both shall be indicated."

Article XI - Key Personnel is hereby amended by deleting from the list of individuals the name "Mr. S. Donelson" and adding to the names "
Dr. Jim Stoddard" and "Mr. Jim Hammelman."

Article XVII - General Provisions / Alterations, the Standard Provision on " Drawings, Design, Specifications," Article 1.19 of Appendix A is
- hereby deleted in its entirety and the following substituted in lieu thereof:
"All drawings, sketches, designs, design data, specification, notebooks, technical and scientific data, and all photographs, negatives, interim reports, source data and memoranda of every description relating thereto, as well as all copies of the foregoing relating to the work or any part thereof, remain the property of the contractor (except for information furnished by the Commission to the contractor) but shall be subject to inspection by the Commission at all reasonable times (for which inspec-tion the proper facilities shall be afforded the Commission by the con-tractor). The final report shall be the property of the Government and may be used by the Government for any purpose whatsoever without any claim on the part of the contractor and its subcontractors and vendors for additional compensation and shall, subject to the right of the con-tractor to retain a copy of said material for its own use, be delivered to the Government.
The contractar's right of retention and use of the final report shall be subject to the security, patent, and use of infor-mation provisions, if any, of this contract."
The above amendments to the contract are made with no increase in contract cost and obligation of funds.
Reference is made to letter dated November 5, '981 to Ms. Joyce Fields from Mr. Richard J. Mcdonald (SAI) for items numbers (5) and (9) above.
