PUBLIC COMMENTS ON DRATT TECHNICAL POSITICM ENTITLED.
" SITE SUITABILITY AND SITE CHARACTERIZATIOl" This memorandum confims that the OPS plan date of January 31. 1982 for obtaining public cossents on the subject BTP has been amt. Approximately 200 copies of the paper were distributed for connents on Deconher 9.1981, at the symposium en site suitability requirements.
In addition, an additional 40 copies of the paper were distributed to selected individuals and agencies for coment on January 7.1982.
Based upon these distributions, connents received from both within the
!!RC and from the public have been very favorable. A small number of specific word changes have been identified by the concentors.
The BTP will now be finalized to incorporate these coments as appropriate.
In addit'on. the BTP will be corpared to the Corps of Engineers report on site characterization data collection and the draft standard forraat and content guide for license applications. Also, corments received from l
Hr. J. B. ilartin will be addressed in finalizing the BTP.
