20555 Attention: Mr. S. A. Varga Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 1 NUREG-0737, items I.A.1.1, I.A.1.3 and I.C.6 Applicability of Unit 2 letters to Unit I Gentlemen:
On February 5, 1981, Alabama Power Company submitted to the NRC its pciition on NUREG-0737, item I.A.1.3, Shift Manning in a letter entitled, "Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 2 Change to Operating License No. NPF-8 to perform the augmented low power startup test program." In a separate letter, same date and title, Alabama Power Company submitted to the NRC its positions on NUREG-0737 item I. A.1.1, Shift Technical Advisor and I.C.6, Guidance on Procedures for Verifying Correct Performance of Operating Activities. These letters also apply to Unit 1.
