Subject:

Diesel Engine Lubrication Modifications Detroit Edison provided a Colt Industries Engineering Report as part of Reference 2.

This report was specific to Alabama Power, but it is appli-cable to Fermi 2. The modifications to the Fermi 2 EDGs are' functionally identical to those described for Alabama Power.

However, the heater and pump are powered with 480 Volts at Fermi 2, while Alabama Power uses 208 Volts.

Also, the 480 Volt power and the spe-cific model numbers for the electrical components used for Fermi 2 are different than those for Alabama Power.

l Should you have any further questions, please contact j

L. E. Schuerman, (313) 649-7562.

t-Sincerely,

,Af fL Wm I
