SUBJECT:
SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT - QUADREX REPORT On the morning of February 2,1982 John Collins, Regional Administrator of Region IV, called to tell me about an investigation that is being initiated by the Region IV office. The purpose of the investigation is to determine I
whether or not ilouston Lighting and Power (HL&P) willfully withheld the Quadrex Report from the NRC.
In addition to interviews with HL&P personnel, the Region IV investigators will want to discuss the Quadrex Report with me sometime during the week of February 8 in Houston, Texas.
In a subsequent conversation with Region IV, a meeting was scheduled for Mondy afternoon, February 8,1982.
